BSc Visual Communication or ‘Viscom’ is a 3-year undergraduate degree program that aims at providing an insightful view into a wide variety of subjects such as Animation, Drawing, Multimedia, Graphic Designing, Web Designing, Writing, Advertising, Film and Video Production, Video Editing, Photography, etc. Further, students get to learn different visual languages, designs, skills and techniques that are pivotal to creating impactful visuals.
In the next decade, visual communication will continue to change. With new technologies and platforms, brands will be able to connect with consumers in new ways that weren’t possible before. Some of the most exciting changes include: Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and 3D printing. AR is a technology that allows users to see images and videos alongside the physical world.
VR allows users to experience virtual worlds directly on their screens, immersing them completely in the experience. 3D printing is a process that creates objects from layers of material which can be shaped by computer software. These three technologies are just the beginning of what’s possible with visual communication in the next decade.
