PROCEDURE 1 : “WALK-IN” PROCEDURE

1. Prospective students can walk in directly to the main office, get the details and seek the help of the counselors.
2. Purchase the application form from the front office.
3. Fill in the application form.
4. Duly filled form should be submitted along with two passport size photographs.
5. Fee payment can be done either by cash/ cheque on the same date.
6. This confirms the enrolment procedure. Students are personally informed about the date of commencement of their course .

PROCEDURE 2 : “REGISTER – ONLINE” SCHEDULE

1. Prospective students can get information regarding their choice of program either by calling up our counsellors or from our website.
2. Students can then fill up the application form online and submit the same.
3. Fees can be paid by cheque/ D.D favouring Integrated Interior Fashion and Animation Educational Trust along with the online application form.
4. This confirms the online enrolment procedure . Students are personally informed about the date of commencement of their course.

ADMINISTRATION

• IIFA, a unit of Lancaster Group Of Institution,IIFA Educational Trust. (Regd.) is the sole authority for administration, expansion, development and management of the institution. The governing council is constituted in accordance with the provisions of the academic matters of the institution, the Principal/Secretary is responsible for the day-to day administration of the institution in all matters.
• All rules and regulations can be changed, altered, edited and new rules can be brought in at any point of time depending upon the circumstances and the management fully reserves the rights to do so.
• The institution shall observe all the gazetted holidays and vacation as applicable. The institution shall function from 9.30 am to 6.00 pm during weekdays i.e Monday to Friday and on Saturday from 9.30am to 6.30 pm.

Re-Admission

If the student had earlier been a student of the first or second year of the programme of the BU and had discontinued for whatever reason, he /she is eligible for re-admission into the II / III years in which he/she had discontinued, on payment of a readmission fee of 10,000 INR/-. Re–admissions are possible only in the courses which are currently offered by the BU. The syllabus for such re–admitted students shall be prescribed by the BU.

Direct Admission to 2nd or 3rd year of Study

If a candidate had already studied a 1st year or 2nd year in a full-time programme in a college affiliated to Mysore/Bangalore/BSS University or a recognized University, he / she is eligible for admission directly into the second or third year of the corresponding programme of the BANGALORE UNIVERSITY for payment of 30,000 INR/- as a direct admission fee along with the first course fee. Direct admission will be made only to the courses which are currently offered by the BU.

Lateral Entry Programmes For the Second year of BCA / BSc Computer Science for relevant three years diploma in Computer Technology, Computer Engineering and Information Technology.
For II year B.Com. for relevant three year diploma in Commercial Practice and Modern office management For II year B.Sc. Costume Design and Fashion Technology for relevant three year diploma in Costume Design & Dress Making, Garment Technology & Apparel Design and Fabrication Technology For II year B.Sc. Catering Science and Hotel Management for relevant three year diploma in Catering Science For II year UG for relevant Bachelor degree similar in nature To Second year MBA, those who have completed MBA with any of a specialization and wish to do some other specialization may do so by joining second year MBA
To Second year MCA for relevant PG diploma in computer related subjects. To Third year MCA for relevant Masters degree in computer related subjects. For lateral entry programmes exemption will be granted only for the duration of the course as specified and for the same / similar subjects studied. Further, the candidates must enclose a copy of the syllabus of PG Diploma / Masters Degree as the case may be duly attested by the Head of the College / Institution where last studied.

Concurrent Admission Students undergoing regular courses in colleges can seek admission, if eligible, to UG/PG/Diploma/PG Diploma programmes offered by BANGALORE UNIVERSITY concurrently. Such Applicants are required to submit the application along with the bonafide student certificate from the college where he/she studying. The Students are also eligible to claim for exemption of subjects that syllabus is common for both the programmes, It will be considered as per rules and regulations.

Exemption of Subjects, Students who have already passed one or more subjects prescribed in the BANGALORE UNIVERSITY under the same course at some other institution shall be considered for exemption from appearing in those papers. An application to this effect should be made with copies of the syllabus (in duplicate) duly attested by the Head of the Institution in which the student had studied these subjects. A sum of 10,000 INR/- shall be collected a fee for considering such exemption. The requisition should be addressed to the Director, BANGALORE UNIVERSITY. However, the decision of the University shall be final with regard to granting of such exemption.
